With all applications, the preparation work is the most important and for UVTEC applications, protective floor coverings are laid and taped to the window frame leading edge.
To remove any minute particles of dust and dirt the windows are thoroughly cleaned and we at UVTEC prefer to use the word "surgically cleaned" in preparing the windows to receive the UVTEC liquid application.
The glass is neatly masked at the edge of the inside of the window frame with masking tape that is similarly used to create a collection trough to receive the residue of the liquid UVTEC coating which is applied following the application of a primer.
The uniquely designed pressure flow equipment creates a "flow curtain" process and from the collection trough the product residue is vacuum returned to the application cylinder. The same process is repeated for each window. |
